To Activate your AvantCard, you will need:
An activated and registered email address (to receive confirmation emails) Your authentic AvantCard. The last four digits of the card number and the expiration date are printed on the back of your card. Make sure to also write down the security code on the front of your card!

Step 1: Fill out the Activation form Online
Visit www.avant.com activate and click “Begin”. You’ll then see this page:
Please enter all required items as indicated by the red asterisks (***). Make sure to enter the complete email address you used to register your MyAvant account. If you do not remember it, please contact me at 1-866-669-5564.
After entering your information, click on the orange “Submit” button. Congratulations! You have just activated your AvantCard! You will receive an activation email after clicking submit. This email contains instructions on how to activate your card. Please make sure to check your spam folder if you do not see this email right away.

Step 2: Activate your Card
Please click the “Activate” button below. Enter the same username and password you used to create your MyAvant account. Then enter your Avantcard number in the box underneath, without any spaces or dashes. After entering your information, click on the orange “Submit” button.
Step 3: Make your First Purchase
Now that you are all set up, you are ready to make your first purchase! Just swipe your card at any merchant who accepts Mastercard. That’s all there is to it! How do I use my AvantCard? When making purchases with your Avantcard simply present it to the cashier and either sign or enter your PIN number (if prompted) to complete the transaction. What should I do if an error occurs when trying to activate my card? Please call immediately at 1-866-669-5564 and the support team will be happy to assist you.
Please have your card number ready when you call so they can better serve you. Why do they need a PIN? They recommend using a PIN for additional security while using your AvantCard. Do I have to Pay any Transaction fees when I use My Avantcard?
No, if the merchant attempts to charge you for using your Avantcard please inform them they may not do so as it is against our policy and will result in an error on their end. What happens if my card is lost or stolen? Please contact us at 866-669-5564 so we can cancel it immediately.
You can also call the toll-free number on the back of your card and follow the prompts to report the card lost or stolen. Please be sure to have your new card information ready when you call the support team.
