Items Required:
- A computer with an active internet connection. The faster the better!
- An account on Steam or a Game Client from Pcgameware
- A copy of Rocket League, either digital download or physical edition will work fine.
The first thing you’ll need to do is go to http://www.rocketleaguegame.com and create an account for your steam client or Pc gamer launcher if you have a physical copy of the game. Once you’ve created an account, start up your SAME version of the game (if you have a Steam copy this means starting up steam).
Make sure that there are no other downloads going on in the background when you try to activate your Pcgameware client. Once your launcher/steam version of the game is up and running open a browser on a device that has a working internet connection. Go to http://www.rocketleaguegame.com.
Go to the top right corner of the page and click “Log In.” Log in using your newly created account from earlier! Don’t worry if you forgot your password for steam, we’ll take care of it later!
Click Activate a Product on Steam or Enter Your Key below if you have a Pcgameware Game client. This will bring you to another page with an activation code. DO NOT CLOSE YOUR BROWSER YET!!! You’re going to need this code very soon! Keep web browsing active until you’re finished with the activation process.
Go back to your SAME version of Rocket League on steam/PW and click “ADD A GAME…” on the top right corner of the screen. (This option is not available for Pcgameware users)
