Xfinity Mobile com Activate: If you just got a new Xfinity Mobile phone, there are a few steps you need to take before it can start working. In this post, we’ll walk you through how to activate your phone and start using it. Keep in mind that you’ll need to have an existing Xfinity account in order to use this mobile. If you don’t have one yet, you can create one at xfinity.com/activate. Let’s get started!
Activate your Xfinity Mobile phone
Sign in to My Account on the Xfinity website with your username and password. If you don’t have an account yet, you’ll need to create a new one. You can click here to learn more about what benefits come with signing up for an Xfinity account. Once you’re signed in, click on your name and tab My Devices.
At the top of this page, you’ll see a banner labeled Sign up for Xfinity Mobile. Click on the link in this banner or go for Xfinity Mobile com Activate. You’ll be taken to a page with all of your options for Mobile accounts. Choose either an Individual plan or a Family plan.
Individual Plans – Under this plan, you’ll pay $45/mo for 1GB of data. You can also add up to 5 additional lines for an additional $25/mo (for 2nd line) or $15/mo (for each line after that). Each line will get unlimited talk and text.
Family Plans – Under this plan, you’ll pay $65/mo for 6GB of data. You can also add up to 10 additional lines for an additional $25/mo (for the 2nd line) or $15/mo (for each line after that). Each line will get unlimited talk and text.
Once you’ve decided on the plan you want, click on your chosen option.
Choose a phone plan
On this page, you’ll be asked to choose the type of phone plan you’d like. You can either pay for a new Xfinity Mobile phone or bring an eligible T-Mobile or unlocked device. If you don’t have a phone that’s compatible with Xfinity Mobile, you can click here to learn more about the phones T-Mobile offers.
If you want to buy a new phone through Xfinity Mobile, click on BUY A NEW PHONE. If you want to bring your own eligible T-Mobile or unlocked phone, choose to BRING MY OWN DEVICE (BYOD). If you want to buy a new phone through Xfinity Mobile, click on BUY A NEW PHONE.
If you choose BYOD, you’ll need to make sure your current smartphone is unlocked. You can go here for details about unlocking your device.
Choose a number
Once you’ve selected your choice for the Xfinity Mobile phone plan, you’ll be asked to choose a number. You can either transfer your existing number or get a new one before you activate it.
If you want to transfer your existing number, click on Keep my XFINITY voice number and follow the prompts after that. If you want to get a new Xfinity Mobile phone number, click on Get a new XFINITY voice number.
Xfinity Mobile will then give you some details about your new phone. Make sure to double-check all of the information before moving forward. If everything looks good, click on I agree to activate my account.
Activate at an Xfinity Store
Once you’ve selected your new Xfinity Mobile phone number, you’ll be asked if you want to activate your account at their store. If this is something that works for you, click on Activate via retail location. You can also choose the option of activating through the My Account page.
After clicking on Activate via retail location either print out or shows the screen on your phone to a store representative so they can get you set up. Once your account is activated, you’ll need to purchase a SIM card from the Xfinity Mobile website or at the store before continuing.

You must activate your phone within 30 days of purchase, or you’ll have to pay full price for the device.
-To activate your new Xfinity Mobile Phone:
- open the Xfinity Mobile app on your phone and sign in with your Comcast username and password;
- select Activate Device;
- follow the prompts to enter your MEID number and other required information.
